going to Madeira ( Portugal) with no passport?

hi i was wondering since my Passport expired and i was born in madeira would it be possible for me to travel there wit a form from the portuguese embassy (which dey said they could supply) and then take my passort there in madeira then come back?
how long would me making a passport in madeira take?
im from england by the way

You are Portuguese living in UK, same here. You will need some form of identification to travel, I suggest either your passport (British or Portuguese) or your Identity Card.
Considering you are going to the Embassy to ask for that form, ask them to take your ID, you can do it in UK. And as soon as you go to Madeira, ask where the ‘governo civil’ is, there you will be able to have you passport on the same day (at least in mainland it is possible,) you will have to pay a fee higher than usual considering you are asking with some urgency.


You can travel with a valid Portuguese or UK ID.
