I’m from Madeira Island and also a huge fun of aviation in general. I work onboard of 747/400 and 777. I live in UK,I find “4everportugal” comments rather bufling. For a portuguese person you should know a bit more about your people and your country, and archipelagos included. Poverty exites but when compared with the national average it is in much lower scale.
Madeira is a gorgeous island I really think you should try and visit the island!

No, it wasn’t ferry. It operated (once weekly) for 3 months. Both legs had good (pax) load factors.
