Madeira - New Year Fireworks - Uncutted version

The entrance of the New Year was welcomed with a spectacular 5km extension of firework in Funchal, city of Madeira (Portugal). The city with it lights weaved evening dress, fired the sky with all its colours and lights. From the catamaran we contemplated the event and registered in our retina and on video. This is the full uncutted version (without music) For more information about Madeira (and its fireworks events) visit Blog.Thoughts.Madeira www.madeirablog.eu

I am sure that this year’s fireworks will be even bigger as they want to hold that world record. Most important for you to bring is … yourself and … a smile. Enjoy!
Awesome - please arrange an even bigger display for New Year 2007 - 2008 as I’ve just booked a two week stay in Funchal over Christmas and the New Year? I can help by bringing out a few packets of sparklers!
