I’m from Madeira, and I have been in the main land and in Azores….it might sounds suspicious but I love Madeira Island!! But every place has something special ya know….
All Portugal is beautiful! (well, some parts aren’t because of the suspiscious relations between constructors and mayors, but that’s another story…) For me, Lisbon, the capital of Portugal is the most special place: it got all the ingridients for a good place to born, live, get married, have children, work, have fun, etc etc
All places are beautiful. Best country ihi. If you want more culture go to Alentejo, Evora, Beja, Sintra, Well can’t say anything about Porto cos I never been even though I am from Portugal xD and Lisboa of course
The moment I am writing this I am living more than 3 years on Madeira. I must confess that I have not visited all regions of Portugal and never been to the Açores … but still after 3 years Madeira is my favorite place to stay.
