why when people think of latinos or latins they think of hispanics there are other people that are latin?

France,
Spain (including the Canary Islands)
Portugal (including the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores )
Andorra,
Monaco,
San Marino,
Vatican City
are latins / latinos every country that speaks a latin language is a latin country
