Would Madeira, portugal be a ideal vacation spot?
Im 18 years old, my 2 best friends and i want go somewhere for about 2-3 weeks around october/november. We are looking for some place with nice weather, sites to see, and defiantly some where safe. We think Madeira is an ideal location. Not to mention Portuguese mean are gorgeous. Im open to suggestions? help!

I would say Madeira island or Algarve (south Portugal)
Madeira is a fantastic. You will never forget it. It’s beautiful.
But you should go there in July, August or September because that’s when the weather is awesome. In October/November you might get a not-so-good weather.
You can spend some time in Porto Santo, an island that belongs to Madeira. You spend 2 hours by bout to get there from Madeira island. It sucks compared with Madeira Island but there are sandy beaches there :) (There are beaches in Madeira but they don’t have sand)
In Madeira Island you can do many things. Scuba Diving, sailing, windsurf, downhill, paintball, golf, horse riding, karting…
And the weather is fantastic! But seriously, going there in October/November isn’t a good idea.

Yes that is a great place to go. My family is actually from Madeira and I’ve been there several times. I would live there if I could! The weather is so nice and even in October/November it’s like 70 degrees, but to them it feels like winter. There is so much to see and 2-3 weeks is a good ideal time to stay. There are tons of beaches and lots of sightseeing, especially in Funchal.
It’s a great spot, either Madeira or the Azores.
(don’t ever prefer algarve to those two :P)
